Little Swimmers
Little Swimmers helps parents and babies be comfortable and safe in the water by introducing skills such as: floating on their back, air exchange, and kicking. Weekly 30-minute classes are offered year-round. In addition to swim skills and family bonding time, studies show that early swimming can help children be ready for school too! Each infant/toddler must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Goldfish
The Goldfish class is designed to transition our advanced toddlers into a 3-Year-Old class with a focus on more independent swim skills, such as: floating with minimal or no assistance, pushing off from a wall in a streamline, and kicking back to the wall. Additionally, the instructor will begin to work more directly with the child (with the parent still present in the water). These classes have up to 6 toddlers (plus caregivers).
Infant Toddlers
Instructors will work with the caregivers on basic swim skills and pool safety. As more than a "splash class," instructors will make sure our participants understand the "why" behind our songs and games. Every class is based on a familiar routine with activities and songs designed to teach important swim fundamentals. Before your first class, review some helpful tips and complete required forms. These classes have up to 8 babies (plus caregivers).
Water Tykes
WaterTykes is a free program offered for families with very young babies to gently introduce newborns to the water, familiarize parents with water safety skills, and offer bonding and social time. Classes are 30 minutes long with a max of 15 babies (plus caregivers). To register, call check-in at 530-759-1214. You should also take a minute to review some helpful tips and bring a completed waiver to your first class.
Children 3 and Up
Developed by swim coaches, our children's program is technique-driven with defined goals and objectives. 30 minute lessons are offered weekly all year long. From blowing bubbles to swimming all 4 competitive strokes, children are rewarded for their efforts every stroke of the way!
Special Abilities
Children with a variety of special abilities including autism, physical difficulties, and sensory challenges benefit from our Swim Angelfish-certified Special Abilities classes.
Standard Levels 1-10
Children ages 4 and up enroll in our standard Levels 1-10 lessons. Children are placed in groups of 2 - 4 students based on their skill level. Each group may include 2- 3 levels, so children don't always change groups when they advance levels.
3 Year Olds
Because 3-year-olds require more attention than older children, we group them in classes of 2 children per instructor. 3-year-olds learn our Level 1, 2 and 3 skills through age-appropriate purposeful play and songs.
